With measured use of items from my prop library and favourite suppliers I make interior spaces sing for the camera, whether still or video. My style is highly collaborative, so I work closely with the interior designer and photographer to ensure the best results from a shoot.

My client Stephanie Lees wanted to capture some images of recent projects for the relaunch and rebranding of her design business and accompanying web site. She also had the goal of getting published. We collaborated with photographer Virginia Macdonald to produce these images of a bright, happy family home in Toronto. Shortly after completion of the shoot, STYLE AT HOME decided to publish the story, which appeared in the Jan/Feb 2018 issue. Check out the Stephanie Lees Design web site to see more images of this home and a few other interiors we have collaborated on as designer/stylist.
client: MODECOR || media: STYLE AT HOME
MODECOR principal Maureen Coates approached me to style and art direct photography of an Ottawa penthouse condominium suite with the goal of getting published. We worked with photographer Donna Griffith and the project was accepted for publication by STYLE AT HOME immediately upon submission. The interior appeared in the October 2017 issue of STYLE AT HOME.

For this project I worked with Maia Roffey, principal of BSID, to bring in finishing touches for a whole home renovation project to prepare it for video and still photography. The homeowners purchased many of the accessories I brought in for the shoots. (Hint hint designers: scheduling photography is a great way to show your clients the final stage of accessorizing and getting them to commit to those essential finishing touches.)
